Perfect Party Pinwheels for Super Bowl Sunday- Heritage Home Ec Need finger food that isn't the same old, same old? These 5 ingredient perfect party pinwheels are fabulous finger food at its finest. | Food | Appetizers | Party | Homemade | Home Economics |

Ever been planning a party or get-together and wonder what you can make for finger food that isn’t the same old, same old? Look no further. These 5 ingredient perfect party pinwheels are fabulous finger food at its finest.

Parties and Potlucks

Years ago, I used to attend a lot of potlucks. I threw quite a few myself also. (We are talking pre-pandemic, not the 1990’s here.) Having a different type of appetizer that could just be picked up and popped in your mouth was wonderful. Everyone adores these when I make them.

The key to a good party is food. Who cares if the decorations are sub-par? No one typically remembers those anyhow. And believe me, unless it’s for business or Instagram, I don’t do up my house too insanely anymore. I just don’t have time for all that.

Super Bowl Sunday

With the Super Bowl on the horizon, party planning is in full swing. The joy of these pinwheels is that they are not frilly, girly food. Sure, they work great for all things that the girls do together, but because of the kick of the jalapenos, the boys won’t even realize that it isn’t Man Cave food.

Perfect Party Pinwheels

The simplicity of making these is awesome. I typically whip them up, roll them, and stick them in the fridge to set the night before. Then right before it’s time for the party, I can pick my serving tray and slice them to serve.

This recipe makes a lot, and trust me, you will be happy that you have so many. I almost always run out before the party is over. Because of the perfect snack size, these little puppies go without you even realizing it.

Coming Back for More

As you are planning your menu, make sure you add a variety of finger foods. There is just something about the act of snacking and finger foods that just make the party complete.

And truly, I absolutely adore that people remember me not just for the party, but for the food I fill their bellies with.

They are good. And honestly, the hardest part for me is waiting on the cream cheese to soften and then the pinwheels to “set”.
Waiting just isn’t my strong suit! LOL
Thanks so much for stopping by! *Hugs*
