tomato sauce

celery
chopped

onions
chopped

bell peppers
chopped

brown sugar

cup
honey or molasses

clove
garlic
minced

tablespoon
smoked paprika

tablespoons
salt

tablespoon
pepper
1
tablespoon
dried mustard
1
small can tomato paste
1/2
cup
vinegar
Instructions
In a large saucepan or stockpot, mix all above. Heat through, and then cook to desired consistency, about 30 minutes.
Mix desired amount with browned ground beef to serve now. Can as directed, or freeze excess in quart size bags for later use.
Ladle into sterilized canning jars, leaving 1/2” headspace.
Put on lids and rings, tightening to finger tight.
Process in a water bath canner for 20 minutes.
Yields about 10 pints.
